For those of you contemplating real estate in Lake Las Vegas- Buy some so we can come take advantage of you!!! Cody and his company are currently rescuing the development from some total mismanagement (and doing an awesome job - so a chance meeting with a board member told me...) but with the crazy work schedule comes some certain perks:
The view from the Lake Las Vegas Beach and Yacht club. There are some stairs that you can't see that go down to a little beach of the Lake.. Totally gorgeous. So taking advantage of this hook up while we can...
The club is deserted since most people who can afford to belong- also have their own pool- or Lakeside dock and Yacht. Love Savana's face in this picture- they wanted to get in the water but we were still eating..
The kids playing- the club provides all sorts of toys and floaties. But the kids had the most fun when Colin and Cody were launching them and making them flip in the air. Even Rowan tried it- ONCE.
Liam finally got to swim with the big kids this summer- once it reached 105 in the shade- I had to start lotioning him up and getting him in the water.. luckily he LOVES his floaty, although he does drink half the pool when he is in it.
I cannot believe how this group of kids have grown. We have pictures of Porter and Savana at Noah's FIRST birthday! Now our initial group of 3 kids is up to 7!! with a slim chance of 8 in the future.. So cute!! They are getting big faster than I care to think about. We are so lucky to have such good friends so close by- especially such good friends with such GREAT hookups!!!- and who actually share them with us!! :)

I figure we have to have some perks to go with us...putting up with our crap could get to be a bit too much if you can't benefit in some way...hah! I am so excited that there is still a slim chance of 8...even after Colin's vasectomy! Can't wait to meet the next adorable addition to your little family...he he.
That pool looked so refreshing. I will have to show this post to Scott. Even after showing him the freeway sign, he doesn't believe me that Lake Las Vegas exists. :)
