My parents rented a beach house for us for the week and although it seems funny since they only live 5 blocks from the ocean- it is way different to be on the SAND. We thought the houseboat would be too tough with the little ones, and let me tell you, this was a blast! It would have been better if the daddies were there the whole time, but it was kind of last minute this year. We have already reserved it for next year! The kids did great and played awesome. The house was in Sunset beach which is north of Huntington and Bolsa Chica and WAY less crowded then Newport , plus the waves are small shore break so the kids could play in them. Totally worth the sand in your bed!! Thanks mom and dad!!

That looks like so much fun!! I want to own a beach house really bad, but thats never gonna happen! Funny I have never heard Peanut's real name, I wasn't sure she had one :)! Ellie is seriously one of the cutest little girls I have ever seen, what a doll!

Man, this looks like a ton of fun and your kids are so cute. Amanda and the kids are at her parents beach house on the Jersey Shore this week. Its not Cali, but at least its not Arizona in July. Say hi to erin for me.

Cute pictures!!! How fun to be right on the beach!! I took my girls last week and they weren't to sure about the sand up their bums!! I think we are more pool people mainly because they don't like the sand getting on their snacks:)
